#Focusrite scarlett 2i2 lmms windows 10 driver
As soon as I noticed the input delay, I uninstalled the driver from Programs and Features, restarted my PC, and the issue was gone completely.

Sure enough, I redownloaded the driver and almost immediately, the same issue took place. Now a week later, I had replayed the series of events in my head and started to suspect it was the Focusrite driver. it was as if my PC was heavily overloaded despite my CPU and GPU usage hovering at 4%-6%. To do that, click here, then select your interface from either drop box window. I didn't think it was a related to any drivers/software I had downloaded because I even booted my computer into Safe Mode, and there was still severe lag/input delay. It took nearly two full days of troubleshooting to fix the issue (I had to backup my personal files and completely erase Windows from my C: drive for the issue to resolve) and then I still had no idea what had caused the problem. A few minutes after doing so, there was such severe mouse input delay and lag while switching between programs/windows that my PC was basically unusable. About a week ago, I asked to borrow my girlfriend's microphone along with her Focusrite Scarlett Solo, so I needed to download the corresponding driver.
